TEASER

Under The Corset was my first short film made in the U.S.

Brazilian culture is very family-oriented, which can be very endearing or painful, sometimes both. It couldn’t be more personal. It’s not only about a corset, nor about the body that is hurt by it. It’s about everything we have to hide and crush under the name of a family heritage. It’s about me, my mother, my grandma, and those before us. How far would you go to honor your heritage? How tight does your corset have to be?
